The AVI FXS 6720 is a small, rugged Linux host device with dual FXS interfaces providing a stand-alone capability to provide Analog Telephone interface for Ethernet SIP systems.
The AVI FXS 6720 is capable of hosting two independent analogue phones via RJ-11 sockets, providing each extension a SIP identity.
The AVI FXS 6720 has been designed to provide remote analogue telephone extension as a drop-down box, connected to your network via Ethernet and powered via PoE. If PoE is not available, then the AVI FXS 6720 can operate from a 10-30 VDC source, either batteries or an AC-DC power supply.
The AVI FXS 6720 simplifies the deployment of analogue telephones on your IP SIP based system. The AVI FXS 6720 provides a small Linux based PBX, enabling the analogue FXS interfaces to register to an IP telephone system, such as Cisco Unified Communications Manager Express.
The rugged AVI chassis, complemented by high performance components, provides reliable analogue to IP voice communications to stationary and mobile network nodes across wired and wireless links.
Industrial IP67 connectors for power and data ensure reliable physical connections that resist vibration and provide ingress protection. Wide range DC power input for connection to 12 and 24V vehicle systems, or batteries ranging from 10-30VDC. AC mains power provided via AVI AC-DC power supply.
