The AVI NR 9115 Mk2 is AVI’s next generation Router specifically designed to meet the needs of autonomous mining systems for data over 5G NR, 4G-LTE and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
The AVI NR 9115 Mark 2 is a hardened Ethernet, 5G NR Sub-6 GHz, 4G-LTE and Wi-Fi router for data only (no voice) connections for the vehicle mounted or static mining application clients to the mining networks infrastructure. The AVI LANpipe technology reliably delivers Layer 2 and Layer 3 data over both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with reduced latency and jitter, essential for autonomous operations.
Using the latest 5G NR Sub-6 GHz technology, the AVI NR 9115 Mk2 connects with peak potential download speed of approximately 2 Gbps and potential upload speed of 660 Mbps. For mission-critical mobile communications, the AVI NR 9115 Mk2 supports public or private 5G/4G networks, with WAN switching to Wi-Fi for redundancy. Active monitoring of LTE antennas determines best antenna for transmit, switching accordingly using AVI developed Transmit Antenna Path Redundancy (TAPR) technology.
The AVI NR 9115 Mk2 records comprehensive on-board logs of device, wireless and network health, reporting to AVI CCMS (Central Configuration Management System) for up-to-date data and monitoring of the wireless infrastructure and deployed communications assets. CCMS provides a single application for monitoring and managing large quantities of operational AVI NR 9115 Mk2 and other AVI User Equipment (UE).
The AVI NR 9115 Mk2 is protected using hardened network security features, ensuring critical traffic assurance and network integrity when subjected to malicious attacks.
The hardened AVI NR 9115 Mk2 design provides an extended operating temperature range, delivering uncompromised reliability of 5G/4G and Wi-Fi router technology in harsh mobile environments. Industrial IP67 connectors for power, data and RF, ensure reliable physical connections that resist vibration and provide ingress protection. Wide range DC power input for connection to 12 and 24 VDC vehicle systems includes enhanced protection against input power load dump.
