The AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 is AVI’s next generation router specifically designed to meet the needs of autonomous mining systems for data over both LTE and Wi-Fi infrastructure.
The AVI LTE 9114 Mark 2 is a hardened Ethernet, LTE and Wi-Fi router for data only (no voice) connections for the vehicle mounted or static mining application clients to the mining networks infrastructure. The AVI LANpipe technology reliably delivers Layer 2 and Layer 3 data over both Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks with reduced latency and jitter, essential for autonomous operations.
Using the latest 3GPP Release 11 Category 11 LTE technology, the AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 connects download speeds of up to 600 Mbps and upload speeds of up to 75 Mbps, compatible with most world-wide LTE frequency Bands. For mission-critical mobile communications, the AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 supports public or private 3G and 4G LTE networks, with WAN switching to Wi-Fi for redundancy. Active monitoring of LTE antennas determines best antenna for transmit, and switches accordingly using AVI developed Transmit Antenna Path Redundancy (TAPR) technology.
The AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 records comprehensive on-board logs of device, wireless and network health, and reports to AVI CCMS (Central Configuration Management System) for up-to-date data and monitoring of the wireless infrastructure and deployed communications assets. CCMS provides a single application for monitoring and managing large numbers of operational AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 and other AVI User Equipment (UE).

The hardened AVI LTE 9114 Mk2 design provides an extended operating temperature range, delivering uncompromised reliability of LTE and Wi-Fi router technology in harsh mobile environments. Industrial IP67 connectors for power, data and RF, ensure reliable physical connections that resist vibration and provide ingress protection. Wide range DC power input for connection to 12 and 24 VDC vehicle systems includes enhanced protection against input power load dump.
